The LEN European Aquatics Championships kick off this week with synchronised swimming and diving events starting the competition in London.
Approximately 900 elite swimmers and divers including Tom Daley, Jack Laugher, Jazz Carlin and Tonia Couch will be competing at the London Aquatics Centre at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for a fortnight of swimming, diving and synchronised swimming.
The competition begins with synchronised swimming and diving this week, followed by the swimming events starting next Monday (16th May). There are still tickets available for many events according to the LEN 2016 website, so if you're lucky enough to live in/near the capital you've got the opportunity to attend the event and watch some world class swimming!
Elite swimmers from across the continent are converging on the UK capital with their eyes on the title of Eruopean Champion. In this Olympic year, the Euros are an important milestone on the road to the games for many athletes. The championships are a chance to get some much needed race day practice, to compete against other world-class swimmers, and to see just how far their training has brought them.
