AKRON is comprised of three members, all of whom are former swimmers of the Italian National Swimming Team. The most distinguished among them is unquestionably Domenico Fioravanti. He clinched two gold medals at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, becoming the first Italian to secure a gold medal in swimming and a historic pioneer as the first swimmer to achieve gold in both the 100m and 200m breaststroke at a single competition.
