Team Speedo 2016 Video - "The Winning Elements"

Speedo have released a new video featuring some of the world's top swimmers in some of the world's best racing swimwear. The Team Speedo 2016 video is sure to get you pumped up for your next training session or competition. Fast paced and beautifully shot, the video has a dark theme with the hip-hop soundtrack building an atmosphere as the swimmers reach the pool and prepare to enter the water.

The video builds to a crescendo when the swimmers enter the water. Sparks fly around the swimmers and what look like chemical bonds buzz around them as they swim through the water. At the end, we see several of the Speedo athletes standing on poolside accompanied by a periodic table of elements. But instead the elements sodium, boron, iron etc are replaced by names of swimmers and their initials. It feels like Speedo are playing on the popularity of a certain AMC television show that also made use of the periodic table of elements in it's title sequence...

Team Speedo 2016 includes some of the biggest names in swimming, including Missy Franklin, Nathan Adrian, Ryan Lochte, James Guy, Ye Shiwen, Siobhan O'Connor, Cam McAvoy, Florent Manadou, Lauren Boyle, Jessica Hardy, Conor Dwyer, Sun Yang, Michael Jamieson, Grant Hackett, Jazz Carlin, Tyler Clary, Stephanie Slater and many other top-level swimmers.
