We may be at the coldest part of the year right now but the RNLI has already started their “Best Summer Job” recruitment campaign for beach lifeguards in 2016. If you’re fit, healthy, 16 or over, and can swim 400m, the RNLI have everything to prepare you for the best summer job around! This summer thousands of people will flock to the coast to enjoy some sun, sand and sea. It takes a large team of dedicated lifeguards to ensure the safety of the public in the sea, tidal swimming pools and on our beaches during the busy summer months. New recruits will undergo full training, be given all the necessary equipment, and they'll be paid for their efforts too!
