When I think about the Tempo Trainer Pro, I think about what I call the “Holy Grail of Swim Coaching”, which in my opinion is knowing how many strokes you’re taking and how fast you’re taking them. Seems simple doesn't it? Well it may not be as simple as you think. There are correct and incorrect ways to hold a standard kickboard. New swimmers may be tempted to grab the sides of their kick board with bent arms and push downward to try and achieve more buoyancy, this is wrong, don't do this. You'll find you can't do any substantial kicking/swimming like this anyway.

During your swim training, swimming with a long fin could be reducing the full potential of your workout. The large surface area of long swim fins gives a great amount of forward propulsion, allowing the swimmer to move with little effort.
