The Axis Buoy has been out in the world for quite some time now, but we’re still finding new ways to use it! Most recently, we’ve been using the Axis Buoy at the ankles and legs within the same set. We like this method because it prevents lulls in distance or endurance training.

In the second installment of FINIS' "Train For Gold", we learn about 2016 Paralympic gold medalist Brad Snyder. Snyder is one of the most talented and inspirational athletes of his generation. A United States Navy veteran, Snyder lost his eyesight in 2011 due to an IED explosion in Afghanistan. Less than a year later, Snyder was on the pool deck at the 2012 London Paralympic Games, taking home two golds and a silver.
The FINIS Axis Buoy was released earlier this year, receiving glowing reviews from swimmers and coaches alike. The one piece of feedback that FINIS kept getting was that they should create a smaller version that would better fit junior swimmers. Well they've been listening to your feedback and we now have the Junior Axis Buoy! With all the same features as the adult version, but scaled down to suit the junior swimmers more comfortably.
