British Swimming Championships and Olympic Qualification Starts Today!

The British Swimming Championships start today at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre in Glasgow. Britain's swimmers will go head-to-head for the chance to represent their country at this year's Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. A solid performance, within the set qualifying times at this event, will ensure athletes are given the chance to go to the event in August.

It's not all about Olympic qualifying, though. This competition will also decide which swimmers get a place on the European Championships and Junior European Championships squads.

The country's top swimmers will be in attendance, showcasing their skills/progression. It's a very important milestone on the #RoadtoRio. Expect to see all of our countries rising stars and established athletes, all the familiar names in British Swimming will be in attendance hoping to beat previous records and earn themselves a place on the Team GB Olympic squad.
