A day in the life of U.S Pro Swimmer Derek Toomey

U.S swimmer Derek Toomey is training to achieve a spot on the U.S Oympic squad, take a look as shares some of his life and training routine in this video recorded from his GoPro camera:

Derek is an up-and-coming swimming star in the USA and trains with coach Dave Salo at the Trojan Swim Club in Los Angeles. In the video we see his training routine both in and out of the pool. We see him in the gym, dryland training, weight training and training in the pool. This gives some idea of the amount of time and dedication it takes to become an elite-level swimmer!
