Akron's Wels design, offers an open back with thick straps. The benefit of this, is freedom of movement along the shoulders. This may be preffered by swimmers with an arched back for a more comfortable fit. The thick straps reduce rubbing on the shoulders and have been designed with stretch fabric to ensure each swim type can take full advantage of the suit.

In addition to being lightweight, the fabric is water repellent and offers extraordinary fluidity, reducing friction to an absolute minimum. Hydrodynamics and easy gliding are guaranteed and provide excellent sensations during swimming aimed at improving performance.
